Registry - Prevent Windows Shutdown

What is the Registry?
On the Microsoft Windows operating systems starting in Windows 95, registry into use. What is registry? Registry is actually a place where all the information about hardware, system options are used, how to setup the computer's memory, and any application that must run at system start. Registry is similar and is a replacement of the INI (initialization) and configuration files in earlier versions of Windows (DOS-based) systems such as Windows 3.0, 3.1.
Here's a tip to prevent Windows XP is turned off / on-shutdown.

1. Open the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
2. Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer.
3. Right-click the Explorer subkey and select New | DWORD Value.
4. Give the name Ker with NoClose and press [Enter] 2 (two) times.
5. Type 1 in the Value Data text and click OK.

 

In order to function we need to restart the system. Windows can not be turned off via the button Shutdown in the Start menu. To turn off the system, we need to open the Task Manager by pressing [Ctrl] [Alt] [Del], then select Shut Down menu and select Turn Off. Editing the registry is risky, so make sure malakukan backups. This tip can be applied in Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional.
